Kennedy Phounsiri, also known as “ERANETIK”, is a San Diego native that has been breaking for over 8 years now. He first started in his front lawn, under trees, with his brother and neighborhood friends on a linoleum floor. After years of training and the revival of respect for this dance, he was introduced to different locations in the San Diego County which allowed him to practice at their venue and is now a known figure in the breaking scene. He now competes around the nation and has been competing since 2003. Eranetik also trains in ballet, lyrical, modern, jazz, contemporary, and hip-hop, which he started doing at his high school, Eastlake High School, and was part of their dance team, the “Eastlake Dance Company”. He has been teaching break dancing since 2005, to all ages.
One of Eranetik’s highlights has been placing 1st & 2nd in many competitions in Chicago, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Oakland, San Jose and all over the San Diego County.
