Sarai Martin was born in Puerto Rico and grew up dancing to the tropical music of the island. Dance has been her passion since she was a young girl.
Sarai started her formal training in the ballroom dances 15+ years ago and has since been teaching
salsa, ballroom, and casino rueda all over southern California. She also has been involved with
several salsa dance companies such as “ Los Rumberos” , “ Salsa y Fuego” and “ Mamboogie”. Sarai
has been fortunate enough to travel the world performing and showcasing her talent.
Sarai became certified in Zumba in 2011 and is excited to be a part of Step It Up Studios as a
Salsa and Zumba instructor.
