Born and raised in San Diego, Cheryll Kidd has always had a passion for performing on stage. At the young age of three, her parents enrolled her into the Ballet Conservatory where she spent the next eleven years of her life. Through the studio, she performed three performances
a year, including Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, and Cinderella.
Cheryll has also completed the Royal Academy of Dance Level 7 and Imperial Society of Dance
Level 6. After two years on pointe, she decided to try new things for high school. While attending
Bonita Vista High, she participated all four years in cheer, tumbling, gymnastics and the BVHS Get to the Pointe Dance Team.
Cheryll has earned such awards as Junior Varsity and Varsity captain, Best All Around (two years),
Most Inspirational, and 1st, 2nd and 3rd places All Around for gymnastics. From there, Cheryll
graduated ’09 and immediately began coaching gymnastics, while participating on Southwestern College’s cheer squad.
Cheryll is currently working on her associate’s in Dental Hygiene at Southwestern and competing with San Diego Elite All Stars cheer squad.
